Martin "The Official Music Man model" saxophones
Made 1962 - 1964 (Ser# 212k - 218k) Classification: Professional

This is a limited edition horn named after the movie with the same name
The Music Man which it was used in.
It is basically a The Martin with a speciall engraving on the ring on the bottom of the bell. Also the keyguard is a bit different.
You might say this is the predecessor of the Magna.
There are people who claim they're the best honkers with the best intonation.
I have seen examples of a model with BOTH the RMC shield and "The Music Man" engraving.
There were also other Reynolds horns produced under the aegis of "The Official Music Man".
For more info please see the The Martin page or the Official Music Man gallery.
