Martin Imperial saxophones

Made 1950 - 1970 (Ser# 300K - 320k - a lot missing here) Classification: Intermediate

Contribution of Arlene Geiler

The Imperial model is a intermediate line horn.

As it is sold in the same era as the "The Martin" and later on the "Magna" in which period also their student horn Indiana was made I think one could safely say this.

Someone described it to me as:
Not a bad horn, good intonation and tuning, but with a thinner empty tone (compared to a The Martin)

It's also strange that people seem to like the Martin Indiana models more.
